The room I had No 5 smelt of damp, the view out of the window with a broken wooden blind was of a flat roof and an industrial expelair from the kitchens, the bed and mattress was of cheap quality there were no drawers to place your clothes and on one of the nights and morning the centre heating did not work (frozen) and no hot water….would I stay there again….. NO, NO, NO

Fantastic food at this authentic greek restaurant just a stones throw from Burry Port train station. You can get greek beers (e.g. Mythos) and wines here and they have rooms here also if you want to stay over. But it's worth a visit just for the food - absolutely delicious.

Comfortable amenities, friendly host. Rooms have a small fridge, kettle and microwave..good value for money..street a bit noisy but bearable and ear plugs are supplied. We ate authentic Greek food at the restaurant, freshly prepared by Nik himself, tasty, great service..highly recommend.

My wife and I absolutely love nick the greek.
We have made it a family tradition to go there at least once a year.
The rooms are beautiful and the staff are amazing.
The food..........is heaven... stunning home cooked meals and all at a reasonable price...give stars to Nick and his staff.

Absolutely appalling way my grandchildren were treated by the lady serving. She was extremely short tempered and raised her voice numerous times to a 2 year old and a 3 year old .
Would not recommend taking children here .
It’s a shame as the food is good!

We ate at the restaurant this evening and boy were we pleased with Nik The Greek, having recently been to Greece it was nice to get a taste for the cuisine once again, it has a real honest feel about the place, service was attentive but not rushed in any way, the food was amazing, from the small plates to the mains, everything was delicious, good food doesn’t need to be extravagant, this is wholesome, packed with flavour and you can really taste the love that’s been put into creating every dish, we couldn’t manage the desserts that were on offer as we were too full, no shortage of portions that’s for sure!
Be sure to visit this absolute gem of an authentic piece of Greece in west Wales!

Absolutely beautiful cooking all fresh food and cooked to the finest standard I have never tried Greek food before this evening and I am very glad to have tried it and to have chosen this place to try it from first hats off to the chef you have a skill and you have thoroughly impressed me with your culinary skills thank you very much for the wonderful experience this evening 😊💯, if you haven't tried Greek or you are looking for food cooked at Michelin level then look no further absolutely delicious.

The review is in relation to the room and not the restaurant. The bed was comfy. It had a separate bathroom but via a corridor. The view was of the air conditioning but what do you expect for under £70 pounds? The rooms are self service via a key lock which suited me and they laid on some bottle water which was a nice touch. The location is bang in the middle of Burry Port and the room overnight was quiet. I suppose the question I always ask on reviews is whether I would go again? For the money - Yes.

Outstanding service, outstanding food. The stuffed pepper took me back to Greece with every mouthful. We will definitely be back. Plus some shopping in their deli… so we could enjoy an authentic taste of Greek the next day too. So welcoming and thoughtful, we couldn’t have wished for a better evening.

Just had lunch here and have to review. My wife and I had the Corfu beer, the Mezze chicken pittas with the trio of dips and calamari washed down with a Greek coffee and baklava and having lived and worked in Greece for many years it was like being back in Corfu as an English teacher. We will be back, the food and friendly welcome was just perfect.

Family birthday meal at Nik the Greeks in Burry Port last night, 19 of us, the food as usual was absolutely gorgeous, the welcome was brilliant, and the staff sung happy birthday my wife loved it, everyone really enjoyed the night, will go back again soon

We ate here tonight. Its a bit odd as the sign on the door says to wait until you can be invited inside. I'm not sure how they would know you were waiting tho. I hesitated but walked in anyway and it was empty - again I hesitated as a wasn't sure what the procedure was. I found someone in the next room who immediately came to help. We were seated straight away, offered menus and advice and drink order was taken. We ordered, and food was with us in 10 minutes. The vegetable moussaka was amazing. The kids menu was decent. The main menu options superb.
Unfortunately, we had to leave before sampling desert as one of the party wasn't feeling well (absolutely nothing to do with Nik's) and that was very disappointing but they boxed up some uneaten food to go home with.
